As our Oracle HCM team expands, we are looking for a skilled professional with a background in Oracle implementations and a focus on continuous improvement. This prominent role involves managing a team of seasoned developers, requiring a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and a commitment to ongoing delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the execution of high-quality Oracle deployment projects across various Oracle HCM modules.
- Facilitate the implementation of new Oracle HCM modules, including Learning and Talent Management Systems, transitioning from project phase to business-as-usual operations.
- Oversee a significant volume of internal business-as-usual tickets, continuously evaluating and prioritizing them in collaboration with the HR Systems Product Manager and business stakeholders.
- Support the organization in enhancing system capabilities through our Oracle Optimization initiative.
- Provide expert Oracle technical guidance and collaborate with the team to refine system processes, maximizing the advantages of the Oracle HCM platform for the organization.
- Advise on transformational elements of Oracle HCM concerning the HR operating model, employee and manager self-service, service delivery, environment management, reporting, and relevant HR process execution such as Recruitment, Onboarding, Absence Management, Payroll, and Offboarding.
- Promote the growth of the Oracle HCM platform by sharing knowledge, fostering thought leadership, and supporting the professional development of team members.
- Lead quarterly system upgrades, ensuring thorough testing is conducted and advising the organization on new or enhanced system functionalities.
- Consult on the technical integration of the Oracle application with other client systems and third-party applications, including payroll, benefits, and finance systems.
- Manage data migration and data integrity efforts, working closely with internal subject matter experts.
- Engage with stakeholders and peers across the organization, collaborating with other teams to share best practices and explore opportunities to enhance our offerings.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Oracle HCM platform and its roadmap, staying updated on platform advancements and actively participating in the broader Oracle community.
- Ensure appropriate governance of access to HR technology and data in compliance with GDPR and internal IT security standards.
- Serve as a role model for the team by exemplifying our values and principles, leading by example.
- Assist in the development of team goals and provide coaching to facilitate the growth of skills within our Oracle HCM team.
Key Requirements:
- Advanced functional knowledge of the Oracle HCM platform, including Core HR, Absence, Payroll, Recruitment, Talent Management, and Learning modules.
- Demonstrated experience in successfully delivering and supporting Oracle HCM implementations, ongoing configuration, and support.
- Experience leading HR transformation projects, managing workstreams, and overseeing teams.
- Solid understanding of HR processes.
- Exceptional stakeholder management capabilities.
- Familiarity with other leading HCM cloud products, such as Workday, ServiceNow, or SuccessFactors (desirable).
- Comfortable working within both agile and waterfall methodologies.
- Strong documentation, reporting, and presentation skills.
- Well-developed analytical abilities, capable of clarifying complex issues and synthesizing large volumes of information.
- Experience in a functional and/or technical role within a business or systems delivery environment, preferably in the HR sector.
- Proficient in producing project deliverables, including business requirements, functional specifications, configuration documents, process flows, use cases, and requirements traceability matrices.
- Adept at knowledge transfer and flexible in approach based on situational needs.
- Quick learner of technology through instruction and hands-on experience.
- Proven ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with diverse team members.
- Experience with ticket management systems such as ServiceNow.
- Strong commercial acumen, a desire for continuous learning and development, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
- Degree-level education.
- Oracle HCM Certifications (desirable).
- ServiceNow / Workday Certification (desirable).
- SAFe Agile experience (desirable).
