About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at CV Bay Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our critical equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and complex mechanical and electrical repairs, preventative maintenance, and equipment installations.
  • Follow all company procedures and safety standards.
  • Work to our planned preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Provide technical support for projects and contribute your expertise.
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns, and troubleshoot faults to minimise downtime.
  • Carry out modifications and installations on-site.
  • Provide on-call cover and be available for overtime if required.
Requirements
  • A times-served engineer who has completed a recognised apprenticeship such as an NVQ or City and Guilds in Maintenance Engineering.
  • 5 years experience in a similar role.
  • Competent in mechanical/electrical repairs, fault finding, and basic welding and fabrication.
  • Familiarity with Health & Safety regulations and the ability to work under current legislation.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
