Job Title: Children's Residential Care Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Residential Care Worker to join our team at Nurtured Care Services. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, stable, and caring environment for children and young people in our Ofsted-registered homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the care and support of children and young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with our residents, understanding their individual needs and preferences.
  • Contribute to the creation of a nurturing and inclusive environment, encouraging social skills, independence, and self-esteem.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure comprehensive record-keeping, safeguarding, and risk management.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • At least 12 months of experience working with children and young people.
  • NVQ/Diploma Level 3 in Children and Young People or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleepovers.
  • Driver with a full UK driving license (desirable).
