Vaccination Program Supervisor

Position Overview
The individual in this role will oversee the vaccination team to guarantee that immunisation initiatives are executed punctually and that outcomes align with contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership : Direct and manage teams, encompassing performance oversight, attendance management, recruitment and onboarding of new staff, conducting probation assessments, and facilitating individual meetings.
Operational Coordination : Supervise the daily functions of the service within the designated area.

Scheduling : Develop, uphold, and oversee a timetable to ensure sufficient staffing for all administrative and nursing personnel, and arrange for emergency coverage as required.
Immunisation Calendar : Ensure that the schedule for school immunisation sessions and catch-up clinics is fulfilled in accordance with performance indicators.
Consent Management : Oversee the processing of consent forms in line with the Immunisation Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) .
Compliance : Ensure that Patient Group Directives (PGDs) for immunisations are duly signed and maintained.
Financial Oversight : Manage team budgets and forecasting documents in alignment with performance indicators .
Performance Review : Regularly assess uptake statistics and collaborate with educational institutions and management to devise and implement improvement strategies when uptake is suboptimal.
Inventory Management : Handle the ordering of supplies and coordinate the transportation of vaccinations to the designated locations.
Team Engagement : Actively participate in team meetings with constructive contributions.
Support Role : Assist and stand in for the Programme Manager as needed.
Additional Duties : Perform other responsibilities as required for the level of this position.
Compliance : Adhere to company policies and procedures.
About Vaccination UK
Vaccination UK has been entrusted by NHS England since 2015 to deliver immunisation services to school-aged children, including influenza vaccinations, across various counties and boroughs in England.
