BEMS Cost Analyst – Remote - Competitive Salary

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive and precise cost assessments for control and automation initiatives across diverse environments, including laboratories, research facilities, and commercial properties.
  • Examine project documentation, including specifications and drawings, to ascertain the project scope and identify essential requirements.
  • Conduct site evaluations as necessary to inform accurate cost estimations.
  • Collaborate with engineering, commissioning, and project management teams to collect vital information for precise cost calculations.
  • Maintain and enhance the company’s historical cost database to support future estimations and improve overall accuracy.
  • Engage in bid review sessions, offering insights and suggestions to maximize project profitability and feasibility.
  • Assist in crafting proposals and tender documents, ensuring all financial components are clearly articulated.
  • Support project managers during the transition phase by providing detailed documentation and clarifications regarding estimated costs.
Qualifications
  • Proficient in Trend systems with a solid understanding of their application in control and automation projects.
  • Strong background in commissioning and engineering processes related to automation systems.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project).
  • Possession of professional certifications related to estimating, project management, or automation systems.
  • Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) and Energy Management Systems (EMS).
  • Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD.
