In collaboration with your supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all facets of the store's operations, including inventory control, operational efficiency, and local marketing strategies.
The successful candidate will be a team player, focused on leadership and team motivation. You will inspire your staff daily with your enthusiasm for customer service, along with your composed demeanor and professionalism.
Flexibility for extended hours and occasional travel to other locations may be necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of a standalone retail location and its team
- Enhance sales performance, key performance indicators (KPIs), and organizational goals
- Adopt a commercially driven approach, continuously seeking opportunities to boost customer traffic
- Complete operational tasks including payroll, scheduling, inventory assessments, and weekly performance reports
- Coordinate and assist in-store and external events to elevate brand visibility while collaborating with partner organizations
- Recruit, train, and mentor team members with an emphasis on professional development
- Consistently deliver exceptional customer experiences
- Demonstrate initiative and a proactive mindset
- Lead by example and assist your team with daily responsibilities
- Uphold company standards at all times
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising standards are maintained
- Facilitate training for both new and existing team members
- Identify and promote initiatives that contribute positively to the community and environment, including fundraising for charitable causes through in-store activities and partnerships
- Champion community engagement efforts, providing inspiration and opportunities for volunteerism, enhancing the local community, and fostering an inclusive atmosphere
- Address any health and safety concerns promptly and ensure appropriate measures are taken
- Perform any additional reasonable duties as assigned by your supervisor
We are looking for a passionate and driven individual with at least two years of experience managing a standalone retail outlet, preferably in the health and beauty sector. The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator, proficient in MS Office applications, including Excel and SharePoint. We value strong leadership and teamwork, so you should be comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams while treating everyone with integrity, kindness, and respect.
This position requires a self-motivated individual with high standards, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a retail setting, including weekends and evenings. A positive attitude and a desire to mentor others while motivating them with your passion for customer service are essential.
A genuine appreciation for the brand and the beauty/wellness industry is advantageous.
