SEN Teaching Assistant

Annual Salary: £20, £22,835.30 (dependent on experience)
Hours: 40 per week, Term Time only
We are seeking a Temporary SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a bespoke Specialist School supporting children aged 11-16 with SEMH needs.
About the Role:
- Provide support to students with Special Educational Needs and Mental Health (SEMH) requirements
- Assist teachers in creating a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Develop and implement strategies to promote student engagement and participation
- Collaborate with the teaching team to plan and deliver lessons
Requirements:
- Experience working with students with SEMH needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) policies
