Job Title: Family Nurse Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Family Nurse to join our team as a Supervisor, providing clinical and safeguarding supervision to our Family Nurses and ensuring the integrity of our programme.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of Family Nurses and the Quality Support Officer.
  • Take responsibility for programme quality and adherence to the FNP licensing conditions.
  • Facilitate continual learning and service improvement, planning for and ensuring a local learning programme for each Family Nurse.
Requirements:
  • Nursing or Midwifery NMC registered.
  • Trained Family Nurse.
  • Degree level or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Masters level education.
  • At least 2 years' experience of midwifery, child health, public health, home visiting.
  • Managing others.
Desirable Criteria:
  • Experience of working with young people.
  • Project Management.
Knowledge:
  • Knowledge of the research base for NFP and its replication in the UK.
  • Parent/infant mental health.
  • Knowledge of Supervision models.
  • National and Local Safeguarding policies.
  • Theories - attachment, self-efficacy, human ecology, and behavioral change.
