Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Family Nurse to join our team as a Supervisor for the Family Nurse Partnership (FNP) programme. This is a 6-month secondment opportunity from November 2023, with the possibility of extension.

Main Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing a team of family nurses and a Quality Support Officer. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing in-depth clinical and safeguarding supervision to family nurses
  • Maintaining the integrity of the FNP programme
  • Overseeing recruitment and engagement of hard-to-reach families
  • Building local stakeholder relationships
  • Facilitating continual learning and service improvement
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Nursing or Midwifery NMC registration
  • Trained Family Nurse
  • Degree-level or equivalent professional qualification
  • Masters-level education
  • At least 2 years' experience of working with deprived communities
  • Supervision of other practitioners
  • Leading a team
  • Managing others
