Position Overview: Lancashire County Museum Service Headquarters
About the Organization:
The Conservation & Collections Team at Lancashire County Council plays a vital role in supporting the operation and advancement of museums throughout Lancashire. We provide specialized conservation, technical, design, and curatorial expertise, while also engaging in projects for museums and heritage organizations on a national scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Heritage Business Facilitator and the Heritage Premises Officer at the Museum Headquarters.
- Ensure site security and assist with various responsibilities, including maintaining cleanliness, conducting health and safety checks, monitoring contractors, and performing day-to-day maintenance tasks.
- Support the activities of the Conservation & Collection team in relation to Lancashire's Heritage.
This role is permanent, requiring 29.6 hours per week (4 days), scheduled on a rota to ensure coverage during all operational hours.
Salary: £22,737 - £23,114 pro rata - Pay award pending.
