Development Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Network Development Coordinator. This exciting role will involve establishing a cross-sectoral community of Lancashire-based stakeholder organisations to strengthen local and regional responses to poverty.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish a network of professionals and volunteers engaged in resolving poverty in Lancashire.
- Engage with key stakeholders, including local authorities, the Combined Authority, and VCSE sector infrastructure bodies.
- Host meetings, forums, and events to create space for anti-poverty knowledge development and activities.
- Deliver against funding KPIs, including network reach and engagement targets.
- Work closely with Resolve Poverty colleagues to achieve shared goals.
- Experience of working in a relevant VCSE sector networking role or with transferable skills.
- Understanding of the Lancashire context, including knowledge of the region's political and VCSE sector landscape.
- Passion for collaborative working and networking, with the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work to targets and report on KPIs.
- Computer literate in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to understand policy issues relating to poverty.
- Passion and commitment for social justice and ending poverty in the UK.
- Salary range: £31,500 to £35,000 pro rata, depending on experience.
- Paid annual leave entitlement: 25 days pro-rata, with an additional leave day for each full calendar year worked up to a maximum of 29 days.
