About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated leader to join our team as Deputy Director of Operations Surgery. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and managing the day-to-day operations and performance within the Division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve performance targets across the division.
  • Collaborate with Patient Service Managers, Clinical Directors, and Matrons to ensure the safe and effective delivery of patient services.
  • Manage budgets and resources to achieve financial targets and improve efficiency.
  • Lead and manage a team of staff to achieve operational objectives.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and services.
Requirements
  • Professional qualification or registration in a relevant field.
  • Significant operational/management experience in the acute sector or equivalent complex public sector environment.
  • Experience in staff management, budget management, and quality improvement.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
