We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our Paediatric Psychology Service in North Devon. This is a Band 7 role providing maternity cover for a period of one year.
Key Responsibilities- Offer high-quality psychological care to children and young people experiencing significant and complex mental health difficulties and their families.
- Bring advanced formulation skills and consultation to your team alongside wider service development contributions.
- Provide comprehensive psychological assessments, collaborative psychological formulations, and identification and delivery of appropriate intervention models.
- Provision of psychologically informed resources and information, and wider service signposting.
- Referral on to partner agencies where required/necessary.

Our Paediatric Psychology Service aims to support children and young people to manage the psychological impact of living with a physical health diagnosis as part of their paediatrician-led care.
Person Specification- A Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent Masters level qualification in Clinical Psychology if qualified before 1996.
- Active registration as a Practitioner Psychologist with the HCPC.
- Post qualification specialist therapy/assessment training relevant to children and young people.
- Post qualification training or proven equivalent experience in supervision.
