Clinical Neuropsychology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to lead our Neuropsychology department at Southmead Hospital in Bristol. The successful candidate will have expertise in functional neurological disorders and a strong background in clinical psychology.
Main ResponsibilitiesThe post-holder will be responsible for delivering assessment, consultation, and psychological intervention for individuals with functional neurological disorders. They will also take a lead role in developing the outpatient and inpatient service, working closely with the service manager, consultants, specialist nurses, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists.
The team is actively involved in clinical research, and the post-holder will be expected to contribute to the supervision of more junior staff and support colleagues from across the south-west and nationally through professional networks and teaching opportunities.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join a large and friendly Neuropsychology department, comprising 13 Clinical Neuropsychologists/Psychologists and 9 Assistant Psychologists. The department is committed to delivering exceptional healthcare and providing a first-class experience for patients.

Requirements- Training in clinical psychology to doctoral standard, as accredited by the British Psychological Society.
- HCPC Registered Clinical Psychologist.
- Experience of working with patients who have a diagnosis of a functional neurological disorder.
- Significant supervised clinical practice, including clinical neuropsychological assessment/rehabilitation of adults.
