Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Frenchay Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre as a Neuropsychological Rehabilitation Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients with traumatic and acquired brain injuries.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological assessments of patients to inform diagnosis and rehabilitation planning.
- Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation programs to address cognitive, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide evidence-based psychological treatments, including cognitive therapy and mood therapy.
- Design and implement behavior modification programs using a Positive Behavior Support approach.
- Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers about acquired brain injury and rehabilitation.
- Participate in regular team meetings, patient reviews, and discharge planning to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of patient progress and treatment plans.
- Ensure compliance with professional standards and guidelines, including BPS and HCPC regulations.
- HCPC registration as a Clinical Psychologist.
- Postgraduate qualifications in Clinical Psychology or Clinical Neuropsychology are desirable.
- Experience in brain injury rehabilitation is highly valued.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
