Job Summary:
Data Centers are classified as Critical Facilities, supporting vital sectors such as healthcare, research, and public safety. In this essential position, you will be responsible for executing repairs, performing corrective maintenance, and overseeing routine installations of Critical Facility infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Conduct site inspections and oversee the building and Data Center alarm systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance on-site infrastructure or manage vendor operations.
- Execute repairs and corrective maintenance tasks.
- Possess extensive knowledge of critical infrastructure, including UPS, generators, BMS, chillers, and life safety systems.
- Complete site logs and gather data for basic permits, such as MOPs and scripts.
- Respond to all on-site incidents and take action as necessary.
- Fulfill routine work requests and manage circuit installations.
- Assist during critical maintenance operations.
- Collaborate effectively within the department and provide recommendations for general maintenance activities.
- Undertake basic infrastructure projects.
- Flexibility to work any assigned shift, including off-schedule, fill in for colleagues, and respond to emergencies.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of experience with critical infrastructure, including troubleshooting, monitoring, and routine maintenance.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform all essential job functions, including walking, standing, bending, stooping, climbing, lifting, and manual dexterity, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Capability to lift heavy equipment/items up to 50 pounds.
The targeted pay range for this position varies based on location and role, reflecting the minimum and maximum target for new hire compensation. Individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
