Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Field Sales Executive to join our team at Macfarlane Packaging. As a Field Sales Executive, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing customers and identifying new business opportunities to drive sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a business plan to maximize sales and deliver excellent customer service and support.
- Maintain and develop existing accounts while identifying new business opportunities and extending the customer base.
- Utilize CRM software to follow up on leads, enquiries, and quotes.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure a first-class service is provided to customers.
- Adopt a consultative approach with clients to tailor solutions to meet their needs.
- Prospect for potential new customers and turn this into increased business.
- Cold call as appropriate to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
- Meet potential clients, grow, maintain, and leverage your network.
- Identify potential clients and decision-makers within client companies.
- Plan approaches, sales presentations, and pitches.
- Meet yearly and monthly sales targets assigned to you.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of field-based/client-facing sales experience.
- Effective negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with customers.
- Recent B2B field sales/customer-facing experience.
- Record of impressive performance, including new business acquisition success.
- Comfortable with a technical solution-based sales approach.
- Valid UK driving license.
- Reside on patch within the East Yorkshire area.
