Michael Page Sales is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our team in Berkshire.
About the Role
The Account Manager will work closely with the sales teams across multiple channels and customers, supporting key day-to-day commercial work with major retailers. This role will also involve developing skills and working towards the next levels in the commercial structure.
Key Responsibilities
- Support sales teams across multiple channels and customers
- Develop skills and work towards the next levels in the commercial structure
- Take responsibility for smaller customers as they develop, learning about customer plans and strategy
- Undertake general day-to-day tasks alongside the NAM population, as well as projects and ad-hoc tasks from channel leaders
Requirements
- Good educational background
- Experience within the sales and commercial world, either in a head office or field sales capacity
- Ideal experience in the CPG, FMCG, or related sectors - manufacturer, distributor, or supplier
- Self-starter with an excellent attitude and approach to work
- Outgoing personality with a keen interest in developing excellent customer relationships
What We Offer
Up to £40,000 base salary (DOE), car allowance, annual bonus, and excellent benefits.
