Job Title: Contract Management Lead

We are seeking an experienced care professional to join our Learning Disabilities department as a Team Manager working within our Allendale House Shared Living Service.

About the Role:

This is a full-time role with a 5-hour contract, requiring some alternate weekend working. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing a team and a working understanding of the latest governance surrounding community care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to and develop staff teams, including regular team meetings, supervisions, and appraisals.
  • Address areas of poor performance, liaising with service manager.
  • Provide information as directed by senior management and attend meetings as requested.
  • Ensure the people we support are at the centre of their support plans, risk assessments, and behaviour support plans.
  • Embed safeguarding procedures in all staff to facilitate the protection and safety of the people we support.
  • Report and record incidents and accidents, passing information to senior management.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role and a background working with learning disabilities.
  • Proven track record of managing a team and a working understanding of the latest governance surrounding community care.
  • Familiarity with the implementation of person-led care and support plan writing.
