About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Palliative Care Clinical Educator to join our team at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Palliative Care Clinical Educator, you will play a key role in developing and delivering education and training programs to healthcare professionals across the trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver education and training programs to healthcare professionals on palliative care topics.
  • Work closely with the Lead Nurse for Cancer and Palliative Care and Clinical Educators to deliver inter-professional point of care teaching programs.
  • Provide clinical expertise and education to health professionals on palliative care.
  • Organize, develop and lead the delivery of clinical training programs to meet the learning needs of the clinical workforce.
  • Maintain and develop clinical expertise to act as an expert resource to colleagues by guiding practice development and education delivery.
Requirements
  • NMC registration.
  • Certificate in education or equivalent teaching certificate.
  • Mentor/Assessor Qualification.
  • Relevant Professional Degree.
  • Leadership Course (desirable).
