About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Audit Senior to join our dynamic team in Poole. As an Audit Senior, you will play a key role in providing audit services to a diverse client base, working closely with the Audit Manager to ensure the delivery of high-quality results.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in audit and accounting, with experience in mentoring junior team members and overseeing audits at client locations. You will be responsible for leading audits from inception to finalization, reviewing general accounts, and preparing them for presentation to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead audits from inception to finalization
  • Review general accounts and prepare them for presentation to clients
  • Assist Audit Managers in training and nurturing trainees
  • Track client deadlines and ensure adherence
  • Supervise team workflow
  • Evaluate and mitigate risks
  • Collaborate with senior management and other departments to support company growth
  • Identify value-added services for clients
  • Actively participate in networking activities to enhance department visibility
  • Enhance the efficiency of the audit team while upholding the firm's values
  • Demonstrate strong client-facing communication skills
Requirements
  • Qualified (ACA, ACCA, or CA) or finalist with audit experience in practice
  • Self-motivated and eager to progress
  • Proficient in audit and accounting
  • Capable of sharing technical knowledge with the team
  • Skilled in process review and system enhancement
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
