Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Class 2 Driver to join our team at People Solutions. As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating Class 2 vehicles to deliver and collect skips, tipping commercial and household waste.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive/operate Class 2 vehicles to deliver and collect skips
  • Tipping commercial and household waste
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles
  • Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, mileage, and fuel consumption
  • Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
  • Assist with loading and unloading of cargo as needed

Requirements

  • Valid UK Category C Driving Licence
  • Valid CPC and DIGI card
  • Experience driving four, six or eight wheelers
  • Desirable Experience
  • Experience driving RoRos, Skip Lorries or Tippers
