Group Reporting Manager

Altum Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Group Reporting Manager to join our dynamic finance team in London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the group's financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Manage the preparation and delivery of consolidated group financial statements in compliance with IFRS/UK GAAP.
  • Reporting Processes: Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting processes for the group, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Consolidation: Oversee the group's consolidation processes, including intercompany eliminations and foreign exchange.
  • Financial Analysis: Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, including variance analysis and commentary.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all statutory reporting requirements, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of changes in accounting standards.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide technical accounting guidance and support to finance teams across the business.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the reporting function.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 3-5 years strong post-qualification experience.
  • Experience: Proven experience in group financial reporting, preferably in a consumer goods or FMCG environment.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP, with the ability to interpret and apply accounting standards. Excellent analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
