MBN Solutions is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to play a crucial role within our Solutions Engineering division.

The successful candidate will possess a robust background in data interpretation, with a strong command of Tableau, SQL, and PowerBi.

In this role, you will convert intricate datasets from various origins into visually engaging insights that facilitate strategic business choices. Experience in supporting stakeholders post-implementation is a key requirement.

Additionally, you should have comprehensive experience with the entire Tableau process, from data interpretation and storage to the creation of high-performing visualizations that are scalable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and sustain impactful dashboards and reports using Tableau.
  • Collect requirements from diverse stakeholders and convert business needs into technical specifications.
  • Create and manage data models in Tableau to guarantee data accuracy and consistency.
  • Execute data integrations through extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of substantial datasets using SQL, preparing data for analysis and visualization.
  • Identify and implement enhancements for data visualization and reporting to improve efficiency.
  • Adopt new Tableau features while ensuring data quality, security, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Provide training to end-users on effective Tableau utilization and offer ongoing assistance.
  • Engage with and support stakeholders after implementation, addressing their data visualization requirements.
  • Clearly communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and team members to ensure seamless data integration and knowledge sharing across the team.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Several years of extensive experience in data analysis and visualization, particularly with end-to-end Tableau (4+ years) and SQL, to convert complex data into actionable insights.
  • A motivated, self-directed individual with a passion for innovative thinking.
  • Strong SQL and PowerBi capabilities for the manipulation and analysis of large datasets.
  • Familiarity with data visualization principles and best practices.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and data warehouse architectures.
