Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing and coordinating pharmacy undergraduate clinical teaching, working across the Trust and at Liverpool John Moores University.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver high-quality clinical teaching to undergraduate MPharm students, ensuring they become excellent clinical pharmacists.
  • Provide advanced clinical services to the division of surgery, adhering to professional, departmental, and Trust policies.
  • Offer specialist pharmaceutical information to medical and nursing staff, patients, and General Practitioners within the Trust.
  • Act as an independent prescriber, following the Trust's Non-Medical Prescribers policies and guidelines.
  • Participate in consultant ward rounds and multidisciplinary meetings relevant to designated wards and/or directorates.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in clinical pharmacy, excellent teaching and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
