Job Title: Graduate Cover Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Graduate Cover Supervisor to join our team at a Secondary School in Coventry. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in supporting the school and its pupils, ensuring a smooth and productive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide general support to the school and its pupils
  • Supervise and lead classes under guidance and instructions set by the teacher
  • Communicate with the teacher, providing feedback and updates on student progression and behavior
  • Maintain effective classroom management, ensuring that behavior is in line with school expectations
  • Be motivated and ambitious with a goal to support children to reach their full potential
  • Attend weekly CPD sessions within school training program
Requirements:
  • A relevant degree or equivalent qualification
  • Previous experience within a secondary school setting
  • A passion for supporting students to learn and develop
  • Experience as a cover supervisor is desirable, however experienced teaching assistants are encouraged to apply
