Job Title: Graduate Cover Supervisor

LTF Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as a Graduate Cover Supervisor at a Secondary School in Coventry.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a graduate with a relevant degree and previous experience in a secondary school setting to provide general support to the school and its pupils. The successful candidate will supervise and lead classes under guidance and instructions set by the teacher, communicate with the teacher, and maintain effective classroom management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide general support to the school and its pupils
  • Supervise and lead classes under guidance and instructions set by the teacher
  • Communicate with the teacher, providing feedback and updates on student progression and behaviour
  • Maintain effective classroom management, ensuring that behaviour is in line with school expectations
  • Be motivated and ambitious with a goal to support children to reach their full potential
  • Attend weekly CPD sessions within school training programme
Requirements:
  • A relevant degree or equivalent qualification
  • Previous experience within a secondary school setting
  • A passion for supporting students to learn and develop
  • Experience as a cover supervisor is desirable, however experienced teaching assistants are encouraged to apply
