Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Artworker/Production Manager to join our Corporate Communications Recruitment team. As a key member of our studio, you will be responsible for managing the workflow and production of annual reports and other corporate publications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Production Director and Account Management team with workflow and traffic management in a busy studio environment.
- Deliver high-quality annual report artwork and project management during peak periods and project pinch points.
- Allocate projects to the right team, ensuring consistency of resources and budget.
- Schedule and resource all design studio requests through to delivery.
- Identify and resolve issues, providing workable solutions.
- Utilize planning software for effective workflow management.
- Work closely with the Client Services Director to ensure efficiencies and service levels are met and maintained.
- Implement a departmental freelance tracker to ensure accurate start and end dates are logged and communicated to relevant teams.
- Collaborate with IT and HR to ensure freelancers have the necessary equipment, programs, and workspace.
- Respond promptly to ad hoc requests, keeping teams updated on project progression.
- Manage creative diaries with accurate input of briefings and client meetings.
- Lead resource meetings confidently and resolve issues/changes highlighted.
- Regularly meet with teams to ensure work is progressing and remove potential barriers.
Requirements:
- Professional, confident, and calm under pressure.
- Highly literate with excellent communication skills.
- Credible in front of senior management.
- Flexible, proactive, and organized, with an eye for detail and ability to juggle tasks.
- A team player who contributes to the success of the agency by sharing knowledge and lending a hand to others when needed.
- An active listener who knows the right questions to ask to make progress.
- Technically savvy across all artworking software.
