Job Advert Role Description

We are eager to expand our dedicated team of support workers and care assistants at Udal Garth, a part of Priory Adult Care.

Do you believe in providing exceptional care and support to everyone? Are you motivated to create a positive impact in individuals' lives? Do you wish to assist individuals in reaching their personal goals and dreams?

We share this passion and are committed to delivering outstanding care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, Prader-Willi Syndrome, or mental health challenges. As a support worker, you will play a vital role in numerous inspiring stories of care and support for our residents.

In your role, you will assist our residents in their daily activities, encouraging them to live as independently as possible. You may also engage in exciting outings outside the home, as our residents participate in various activities such as day trips and charity events.

Our ideal support worker will:

Be dependable, compassionate, and nurturing to help our residents achieve their daily objectives (including personal care). Be capable of facilitating in-house activities and hobbies. Be observant and motivate our residents to reach their full potential. Be resilient and assist in managing challenging behaviors.

While having a driving license allows for outings with residents, it is not a requirement for employment – we welcome many non-drivers as well.
