About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to join our team at Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to individuals with common mental health problems.

Your primary responsibility will be to assess and support individuals in the self-management of their recovery, using evidence-based Low Intensity Psychological Interventions. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide a comprehensive service that meets the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver LI treatments, primarily on the telephone and in groups, with some face-to-face work.
  • Undertake patient-centered interviews to identify areas where the individual wishes to see change and/or recovery.
  • Make an accurate assessment of risk to self and others.
  • Adhere to an agreed activity contract relating to the number of client contacts offered and clinical sessions carried out per week.
  • Complete all requirements relating to data collection within the service.
