Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

Futures is seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing new and existing valve products to meet industry and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop new and existing valve products to meet industry and customer specifications
  • Prepare general assembly and manufacturing drawings
  • Develop bills of materials within our MRP system
  • Design and develop installation, operational, and maintenance manuals
  • Assist in day-to-day troubleshooting and problem-solving with regard to product performance
Requirements:
  • Broad knowledge and experience in valve design
  • Understanding of drawing standards commonly used in mechanical engineering
  • Excellent skills in working with 2D and 3D drawing packages
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to work well within a team
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering
