Position: Conservation Reserves Specialist

Salary: £27,500 - £30,000 based on qualifications and experience

Role Summary

We are looking for a Conservation Reserves Specialist to contribute to our mission. This role involves managing habitats across multiple sites, focusing on areas of ecological significance. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of the Senior Nature Recovery Manager and collaborate with the North Hampshire Area Team.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Oversee habitat management for a variety of sites, ensuring they are maintained or restored to optimal conditions.
  2. Collaborate with external partners, including governmental and non-governmental organizations, to achieve conservation goals.
  3. Implement Countryside Stewardship Scheme objectives and other management plans.
  4. Maintain reserve infrastructure and gather ecological data through surveys and assessments.
  5. Support the grazing team and coordinate with volunteers and contractors for effective habitat management.
