Reports to: Warehouse Operations Manager

Location: Leek Foods UK

Salary: Up to £36,500 depending on experience

Role Overview:

We are in search of a dedicated Manufacturing Services Team Leader to enhance our Warehousing operations as we pursue our growth objectives. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing a team of approximately 25 colleagues within the Manufacturing Services warehouse, ensuring a safe, efficient, and effective shift operation.
  • Promoting a collaborative and responsible work environment.
  • Engaging in various learning and development opportunities, including Fork Lift Truck licenses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage shift team members, including performance evaluations, recruitment, training, and development.
  • Oversee the operational compliance and maintenance of the MHE fleet.
  • Ensure adherence to departmental health and safety standards, including incident reporting and risk assessments.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Communicate daily and weekly staffing plans, including agency staff allocations.
  • Facilitate structured shift handovers with other teams.
  • Address non-conformances promptly and implement preventive measures.
  • Resolve stock issues and maintain product quality standards.
  • Ensure contractor compliance and manage waste disposal processes.
  • Supervise pallet stock management and support inventory verification processes.
  • Lead regular team meetings and facilitate effective communication.

Qualifications and Skills:
