We are seeking a dedicated and dependable individual to join our team.

  • Compensation: £27.82 per hour
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm
  • Work Arrangement: Onsite with potential for hybrid options

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in overseeing an operational team focused on delivering responsive repairs and managing vacant properties.
  • Ability to provide out-of-hours support, ensuring service coverage through a structured rota in collaboration with the Responsive Repairs Supervisor and team leaders.
  • Extensive management experience within a large asset management or building maintenance in-house team.
  • Thorough understanding of the regulatory framework governing building and maintenance operations, with at least 3 years of experience managing complex financial and budgetary matters in property management.
  • Experience in managing contractual obligations and subcontractors, with a comprehensive grasp of procurement processes, contract stipulations, liabilities, and building codes.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the effective execution of priorities outlined in the Housing Repair and Compliance Strategies, while also designing and implementing future strategies for continued service efficiency.

Provide guidance and support to the Compliance Manager regarding Risk Assurance and Compliance matters, liaising with both internal and external stakeholders.

Oversee continuous improvement initiatives for Risk Assurance and Compliance projects, ensuring seamless integration into daily operations.

Foster and maintain positive relationships with partners to enhance the Council's reputation.

Collaborate within the City Services Group to deliver high-quality, safe, and affordable services to the community.

Generate timely performance management reports, providing analysis and context to maintain a high standard of insightful information for stakeholders.
