In your position as a Kitchen Assistant at HC-One, you will prioritize kindness above all else. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing and serving nutritious, healthy meals that our Residents will enjoy.
  • Demonstrate the highest standards in cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene.
  • Maintain food supplies and fridge/freezer temperatures.
  • Show new starters how to use kitchen equipment.
  • Ensure Resident wellbeing is always the top priority.
Requirements
  • Some kitchen experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Either an NVQ2 in Catering or Food Preparation or the willingness to study for one is essential.
  • Great record-keeping and organisational skills are necessary.
  • The ability to follow recipes is crucial.
  • Considerate and kind communication with Residents and colleagues is vital.
