We are seeking a Training Operations Lead to enhance our training initiatives and support our operational teams. This role is pivotal in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and compliance within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the Operations Training team, guiding their professional development and ensuring weekly updates to their training plans.
  • Exemplify our core values in all interactions, serving as a role model within the organization.
  • Ensure adherence to all training policies, procedures, and compliance standards, with regular competency assessments.
  • Manage the online learning platform, keeping it current and ready for audits.
  • Support all operational sites with best practices for induction and compliance training.
  • Design and deliver tailored in-house training programs for various operational departments as needed.
  • Coordinate the training of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safe work systems for various operational roles.
  • Maintain accurate training records and ensure that all compliance training is up to date.
  • Assist the Learning & Development Manager with internal progression training and personal development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with HR and operational managers to ensure effective training delivery.
  • Regularly update the training system with information on new hires, departures, and role changes.
  • Conduct weekly meetings with the Operations Training team to strategize training and assessment needs.
  • Identify training requirements through job analysis and regular consultations with management and HR.
Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of effective learning and development methodologies.
  • Experience with e-learning platforms and training practices.
  • Previous experience in a training capacity or related responsibilities.
  • Proven ability to manage a team effectively.
  • Proficient in IT and digital tools.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues across various locations.
  • Experience in a fast-paced warehouse or food production environment is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Flexible and adaptable to change.
  • Proactive approach with a willingness to propose innovative solutions.
