About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Cable Operative to join our Fibre Upgrade team in Scotland's central belt.

As a Cable Operative, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining fibre optic cables, working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain fibre optic cables in accordance with industry standards
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve project goals and deadlines
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of fibre optic technology and its applications
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new processes and procedures
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry advancements
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on delivering high-quality results
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Valid full UK driver's license
  • NRSWA accreditation
  • Track rodding and roping experience, with knowledge of MSDR drawings and labelling
  • Fibre blowing experience an advantage
