We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our team at The Calico Group. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for delivering timely and accurate financial information to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the production of management information to stakeholders, ensuring they have timely financial information to inform their decisions.
- Develop and improve existing management information to enhance the understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs) and the financial impact of decisions.
- Develop effective business partnering across diverse stakeholders, including operational teams.
- Set and monitor budgets, ensuring financial controls are in place and adequate.
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts, balance sheet, and reconciliations.
- Support the delivery of annual statutory accounts.
- Embed a culture of value for money (VFM) within the organization.
- Qualified Accountant with a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and challenges in the social housing sector.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet conflicting deadlines and delegate effectively.
- Substantial accountancy experience within a similar environment, including the production of management accounts.
- Experience of working with operational teams to develop financial information.
- Experience of budget setting and developing detailed financial forecasts.
- Team management and motivation to deliver high levels of staff engagement.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships at all levels.
