InHealth is a leading provider of diagnostic and healthcare solutions in the UK, serving millions of patients annually. We are currently seeking a dedicated Lead Imaging Specialist to join our team, focusing on X-ray imaging within our Community Diagnostic Centres.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the highest standard of patient care while producing high-quality diagnostic images.
- Deliver a professional service in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with a dynamic team.
- Perform modality-specific imaging procedures adhering to best practice standards.
Patient Experience:
- Facilitate a positive experience for patients throughout their diagnostic journey, from referral to results.
- Conduct quality assurance checks on imaging equipment and take necessary actions.
- Respect and accommodate the customs, values, and beliefs of patients and service users.
Operational Duties:
- Manage patient bookings and maintain accurate patient information systems.
- Complete competency assessments and adhere to operational procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Education and Development:
- Act as a practice educator, supporting students and colleagues in their professional development.
- Share knowledge and clinical expertise with the team to foster growth and improvement.
Qualifications:
- BSc in Radiography or equivalent qualification.
- Membership in a relevant professional body with valid registration (HCPC).
- Extensive experience in X-ray imaging and department management.
- Understanding of MRI and CT physics and scanning techniques is advantageous.
