This role presents an excellent opportunity to join a distinguished firm that is committed to delivering outstanding client service.

You will engage in tailored tax strategies for a diverse clientele, including owner-managed enterprises, agricultural professionals, trusts, estates, and individual clients.

Your responsibilities will encompass providing specialized private client guidance, which includes estate planning, property structuring, and advisory services for high net worth individuals.


Key Responsibilities may include (depending on experience):

  • Deliver high-quality, commercially viable, and value-added tax advice to the firm's Private Clients
  • Manage opportunities that arise through Partners, Directors, the firm's website, and other channels
  • Lead meetings, define project scopes, and ensure timely delivery of work within budget
  • Regularly review client portfolios to accommodate incoming and outgoing clients
  • Oversee projects from inception to completion
  • Provide support to the Private Client team and other firm members with technical expertise, management skills, marketing, and networking
  • Review complex tax returns prepared by the tax compliance team
  • Address ad hoc inquiries from the tax compliance and financial services teams
  • Cultivate relationships with potential referrers in the professional community, including banks, legal professionals, local authorities, and property experts
  • Take the lead on Will instructions, if applicable based on experience
  • Promote a unified approach to client work within the tax team and the firm
  • Mentor junior members of the tax planning team, aiding them in gaining technical and practical experience in relevant tax matters
Demonstrable technical proficiency in a similar capacity within a Private Client department is essential.

  • Capability to engage with private clients, identify opportunities, negotiate fees, and deliver quality work
  • Ideally, experience in working with Wills and Trusts (training can be provided)
