Taxation Senior Manager

Elevation Recruitment Group is collaborating with a prominent public limited company to recruit a Taxation Senior Manager. This position is based at the corporate headquarters and offers the flexibility of hybrid working arrangements.

This role will report directly to the Group Financial Controller and will oversee the management of corporate taxes and the tax compliance framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and upholding tax accounting procedures and controls for the organization
- Collaborating with external tax consultants to ensure compliance with tax regulations
- Leading projects in partnership with external advisors on matters such as:
- VAT, CIS, and payroll tax audits
- Claims for land remediation relief
- Corporation tax for financial statements and submissions
- Maintaining current SAO certification and tax strategy
- Ensuring optimal tax reporting and disclosures
- Serving as the primary contact for tax-related inquiries across the organization
- Creating and delivering tax training programs to enhance tax awareness within the business
- Conducting ad hoc projects and analyses as needed
Qualifications:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CTA)
- 3-5 years of experience in taxation
- Suitable for either a first-time transition from practice to industry or an individual with industry experience in a tax role
The successful candidate will receive internal support, as the Group Financial Controller has prior experience in tax management and possesses the expertise to provide guidance.
