Collections Manager

We are seeking an experienced Collections Manager to join our Omni Capital Retail Finance business. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing our end-to-end collections process, working closely with the Head of Customer Service to ensure we deliver best-in-class service to our customers, driving the right customer outcomes and business needs.
Key Responsibilities- Manage our external debt collection agency and debt sale partners to achieve strong recovery metrics.
- Lead a team of collections agents to ensure effective debt recovery and customer service.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve collections processes and customer outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Manage customer relationships in financial difficulty, including vulnerability and forbearance management.
- Proven experience managing a collections team in a regulated contact centre environment (ideally 10+ FTE).
- Demonstrable experience managing debt purchaser and debt collection agency relationships.
- Strong working knowledge of collections and arrears recoveries processes in relation to consumer credit.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence decisions and drive projects forward.
- Understanding of complaints management (including the FOS) and contract and debt sale tender process management.
