The Release and Environment Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the Environment and Release Management lifecycle across Quilter.
This position involves the scheduling, coordination, and deployment of all applications into both non-production and production environments, ensuring the quality of non-production environments and effective management of release processes.

Environment & Release Management
Facilitates the release of upgrades, new features, and products into non-production and production environments.
Coordinates release activities across various teams, plans release windows, and supports implementation efforts.
Collaborates with IT Operations to ensure that Release Management activities align with Change Management processes and controls.
Assists in the management and upkeep of the environments utilized in the product release process.
Contributes to the design, implementation, and maintenance of tools and processes aligned with Software Development Life Cycle standards to enhance operational efficiency and the accuracy of software releases.
Creates and maintains release documentation, plans, and status reports.
Manages risks and dependencies related to Environment and Release and escalates issues as necessary.
Oversees a suite of DevOps tools that support the Software Delivery Life Cycle.
Monitors, manages, and reports on progress regarding environment and release activities to stakeholders, ensuring quality standards are upheld.
Ensures best practice configuration management protocols are implemented within designated projects.
Maintains security protocols to protect the integrity of the environments throughout the testing and release phases.
Provisions test environments for projects based on agreed requirements and ensures their ongoing maintenance and integrity.
Assists Service Management owners in establishing and meeting service availability requirements.
Continuous Improvement
Actively seeks opportunities for continuous improvement, optimization, and innovation within the Environment and Release Community of Practice, making recommendations and leveraging best practices to drive efficiencies and enhance the delivery process.
About You

You will have demonstrable experience in successful Release Management and Deployment Management within a technically demanding environment.
The ideal candidate will showcase experience in successful Environment or Technical Project Management in a challenging technical setting.
You will have experience with DevOps practices and implementing automation.
Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Provisioning tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, etc., is essential.
You will possess strong knowledge of the IT delivery lifecycle, associated methodologies, and their practical application.
Proven experience working closely with third-party suppliers and significant experience in Stakeholder Management is required.
Knowledge or experience in Financial Services is preferred but not mandatory.
ITIL Foundation and key intermediate qualifications are desirable.
