About the Role

Quilter is seeking a skilled Release Management Expert to support the Environment and Release Management lifecycle across the company. The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and releasing applications into non-production and production environments, ensuring the quality of non-production environments and effective management of release processes.

Key Responsibilities

* Supports releases of upgrades, new features, and products into non-production and production environments.
* Coordinates release activities across teams, plans release windows, and supports implementation.
* Collaborates with IT Operations to ensure that Release Management activity complies with Change Management processes and controls.
* Supports the management and maintenance of the environments used in the product release process.
* Contributes to the design, implementation, and maintenance of tools and processes aligned to the Software Development Life Cycle standards to improve operational efficiency and the accuracy of software releases.

About You

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of successful Release Management and Deployment Management in a technically demanding environment. You will have experience with DevOps practices and implementing automation, as well as knowledge of the IT delivery lifecycle, associated methodologies, and their practical application. You will also have proven experience of working closely with 3rd party suppliers and compelling experience in Stakeholder Management. Knowledge/Experience of Financial Services is preferred but not essential. ITIL Foundation & key intermediate qualifications are desirable.
