Lead a Team of Engineers in Cutting-Edge Digital Design

Airbus Defence and Space is seeking a highly skilled Digital Electronic Lead Hardware Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the development of innovative electronic systems.

Your Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to a dedicated team of engineers.
  • Develop comprehensive digital electronic board specifications based on product requirements.
  • Define critical interfaces and parameters, ensuring optimal performance and signal integrity.
  • Establish rigorous test strategies and validation procedures to verify design effectiveness.
  • Create detailed circuit diagrams and iterate designs based on analysis and layout constraints.
  • Collaborate with CAD/CAM specialists to ensure seamless implementation of designs.
  • Engage in technical discussions and present findings to internal and external stakeholders.
Your Expertise

We are looking for an experienced engineer with a proven track record in digital electronics design. Your expertise should encompass:

  • Leading and managing small engineering teams, including work package allocation and resource management.
  • Exceptional teamwork, decision-making, and analytical skills.
  • In-depth understanding of digital circuit design principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in using industry-standard digital design tools for schematic capture, simulation, and analysis.
  • Knowledge of test and measurement techniques for digital circuits.
  • Ability to ensure compliance of designs with established requirements.
