Qualified Secondary Educators
Newstaff Employment Services Ltd is in search of committed and versatile Qualified Secondary Educators with diverse subject expertise to become part of our team as temporary teaching staff.

In the role of a Temporary Educator, you will be tasked with delivering exceptional educational experiences and support to secondary school learners across various grade levels.

This position necessitates adaptability, proficient classroom management abilities, and the capacity to seamlessly integrate into various educational settings.

As a Temporary Educator, you have the autonomy to manage your schedule, allowing you to select workdays that align with your personal obligations. This role also offers the chance to engage with different educational institutions.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide stimulating and effective instruction in the absence of the regular educator.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive educational atmosphere that encourages the intellectual, social, and emotional growth of students.
  • Oversee classroom conduct and ensure the safety and welfare of all learners.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators and school administration to maintain continuity of education during teacher absences.
  • If necessary, evaluate all lessons delivered during the day.
  • Offer constructive insights to school staff regarding student progress and behavior.

Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field along with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching secondary school students, ideally in various environments, or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT) with relevant experience.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to modify teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic setting.

Newstaff Employment Services Ltd is dedicated to the safeguarding of children; the successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check along with additional vetting procedures, including reference checks. Candidates who have resided outside the UK for more than six months in the past decade will need to provide an overseas 'police good conduct' certificate.
