We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to join our team at HR Employment Bureau Limited. As an Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics and freight forwarding services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand all customer requirements and ensure that their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
- Communicate effectively with customers and suppliers to ensure that all parties are informed and up-to-date on the status of shipments.
- Book jobs onto our internal transport systems and arrange for transportation to and from Europe and further overseas.
- Submit export declarations and send clearance instructions for imports.
- Verify that all customer paperwork is accurate and complete before processing.
- Coordinate shipments from start to finish, ensuring that all necessary documentation is in order.
- Raise quotations to new and existing customers and colleagues, providing detailed estimates and proposals.
Requirements:
- A proactive personality and strong team player skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
- A high level of attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and precision.
- A good understanding of Incoterms and customs clearance procedures.
- A minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role, preferably in a freight forwarding or logistics environment.
