Teaching Personnel is seeking dedicated Tutors to provide tailored educational support in English, Maths, and Science for students on a one-on-one basis.
Role ResponsibilitiesYou will engage with students in various settings, including community centers, libraries, and educational institutions. While having access to a personal vehicle is advantageous, it is not a strict requirement.
The ideal candidate will possess experience in delivering educational content across Key Stage 3 and 4. Familiarity with the Key Stage 2 curriculum is also beneficial, as some students may be working below their expected levels.
Experience in managing challenging behavior and supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is essential, as some learners may require additional encouragement to participate.
Lesson Planning and AssessmentYour role will involve planning and delivering engaging lessons, creating your own educational resources, and assessing student progress. You will also be responsible for completing weekly reports on student performance.
Students typically receive between 4 to 15 hours of educational support each week during standard hours. There are also opportunities for after-school tutoring available.
Flexible OpportunitiesWe welcome applications from candidates with varying availability, as both part-time and full-time positions are available. With our extensive network of schools, numerous opportunities for engagement exist.
Compensation and BenefitsCompensation ranges from £20 to £25 per hour, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a 'Refer a Friend' scheme, where you can earn £50 for recommending qualified colleagues or friends.
For more information about this scheme, please reach out. Being registered with another agency does not prevent you from applying.
Qualifications and ComplianceAll applicants must possess the necessary qualifications and training for this role. For further details, please refer to the FAQ section on the Teaching Personnel website.
All quoted pay rates include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This position is temporary, with the potential for a permanent role in the future.
