Aerospace Weights Engineer

  • Location: On-site position with relocation support available
  • Salary: Competitive salary range based on experience and qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and execute engineering assignments within your designated area of responsibility, including any team members under your supervision.
  • Collaborate with your supervisor to establish an efficient work plan, utilizing the best engineering practices available.
  • Ensure that the technical output of your work and that of your team meets the required standards set by your supervisor.
  • Facilitate effective communication with your colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders to uphold the interests of the team and organization.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of Weights Engineering tools and methodologies within the framework of capability development.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • In-depth understanding of aircraft structures and systems, including Weights Engineering processes such as early lifecycle weight assessment and weight target management.
  • Possession of a degree, HND, or HNC in a STEM discipline or equivalent professional credentials.
  • Demonstrated experience in Weights Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience in team management is a plus.
