Job Title: Field Service Engineer

Our client, a global leader in manufacturing bespoke and intelligent solutions for vehicles, is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join their established team in Essex.

About the Role:

As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in covering the Essex area, carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repair work on commercial vehicles and equipment. You will work independently, managing your own regional territory, and attending customer sites to carry out mechanical and electrical work on vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out maintenance and repair on a wide range of commercial vehicles
  • Carry out refurbishments and accident damage repair work
  • Manage your own regional territory
  • Attend customer sites
  • Fault find and diagnose electrical issues
Requirements:
  • Commercial vehicle, HGV, LGV, Agricultural, FLT, heavy plant machinery mechanical handling equipment background
  • MUST have mechanical and electrical vehicle experience
  • Hydraulic experience ideal
  • Ability to interpret technical information
  • HGV Licence advantageous but not essential
